More-friendly to Gaming
The Galaxy Note 9’s S Pen which is set to make debut in the upcoming month will reportedly introduce a special gaming-friendly feature.
The tweet from Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) said, “Samsung Electronics’ CEO DJ Koh attaches great importance to the Chinese market and today came to Wuhan, China to listen to the voice of consumers, saying Note9 SPen will have many new features, including special features related to the game.” The US-based twitterian added a picture of Koh’s visit.
Samsung Electronics will host the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked launch event at the New York’s Barclays Center on August 9. South Korean mobile carriers will take the Note 9 preorders from August 14 and officially launch the product on August 24. The release date is set 3 weeks earlier compared to the previous version–Note 8 was unveiled on August 21 of last year and was up for grabs on September 15.
In the official Note 9 poster recently leaked online, the camera and fingerprint scanner are mounted horizontally in the back of the phone. The poster does not show off much details but, set against a blue background, the S Pen is in bright yellow. Underneath it, a tag-line reads “The New Super Powerful Note.”
