South Korean tire manufacturer Nexen Tire is running a digital billboard ad in Times Square to raise its global brand awareness.
Nexen Tire revealed on May 17 it has begun running its new ad in Times Square, a landmark in New York City visited by millions of tourists every year from around the world.
The ad is designed to capture the pleasant moments shared by over 30 million drivers around the world, who enjoy safe rides thanks to Nexen Tire.
The company is hopeful that the ad, which is being played at Duffy Square in Times Square District, will reach over 1.5 million people each day, helping to strengthen the company’s brand image.
“We want to reach out to our global clients through the advertisement which will be featured in the internationally recognized Times Squares,” said Kim Jong-sun, CEO of Nexen Tire USA.
“We’ll continue to raise our brand awareness through multiple marketing activities in the future,” Kim added.
Nexen Tire’s new ad will also be played on digital billboards in Times Square during Marcy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and New Year’s Eve later this year, the company said.
