K-Water under the Ministry of Environment announced that the company would participate in the 2018 Indonesia International Water Week in Surabaya, Indonesia from June 27 to June 30 with Korean SMEs in the water industry.

Ten small Korean water business companies will take part in the Indonesian Smart Water Management Market Development Group. The ten are Dawoo NT, Midni, Bokju, Samsung Measuring, Scotra, Suntech Engineering, CM Entech, Usol, XISOM and KVI. The group plans to take customized approaches by taking into consideration demand from Indonesian water-related organizations and local companies in Indonesia through this event in Surabaya City, a typical commercial and industrial city of Indonesia.

During the event, K-Water will publicize the Korean water management industry to participants and visitors from around the world by opening the Korea Theme PR Center,' which will introduce K-Water’s smart water management technology which combines high technology such as information and communication technology and the internet of things together with excellent products of small and medium-sized Korean enterprises.

"We will do our utmost to vitalize the Korean water industry and create jobs by actively supporting small and medium-sized Korean enterprises with our water management technology and experience so that they will be able to make a foray into the Indonesian water management market," said Lee Hak-soo, president of K-Water.
