The ToNG to be announced on the day includes 12 technologies in sex sectors

Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) announced on Feb. 12 that it held a meeting with a theme of “Realize Technology of Next Generation (ToNG) to present research results and 12 ToNGs at its research center in Daejeon on Feb. 15.

The ToNG to be announced on the day includes 12 technologies in sex sectors, including policy and economy, water resources, infrastructure, water supply and drainage, engineering technology and water quality research, which have power to underpin the next 50 years.

At the meeting, plans for technology development and commercialization and source technology security, such as sustainable policy plans for water management, adaptation and response strategies in the water resources sector for new climate systems, and water resource satellite payload development plans, are to be discussed.

In addition, K-water announced its achievements so far, including project cost reduction by 100 billion won (US$81.33 million) through the utilization of centrifugal model tests, and displayed the prototypes and actual products of the one-stop water management system, which has been successfully commercialized, and water pipe non-discharge multifunctional pipe washing system.
