LG Electronics announced on Jan. 29 that it has released LG Gram 2-in-1, which is equipped with a rotating screen, in Korea and the United States. The price ranges from 1.89 million won to 22.9 million won depending on the model.

LG launched the product in Korea earlier this month, and in the United States, it started selling in large electronics retailers, including Best Buy, last week. The company plans to expand sales to Europe and Asia this year.

The product is a convertible laptop that combines notebook and tablet together. The 14-inch full HD in-plane switching (IPS) display with touch function can rotate up to 360 degrees.

The laptop comes with latest version of Wacom's stylus pen, which allows users to fine-tune the expression of characters and lines by recognizing the gradient and direction of the pen itself, including 4096 steps of pressure.

LG Electronics said, "We used a 14-inch screen in the new laptop, but with the smaller screen border, the overall size of the product is similar to a 13.3-inch laptop, and it only weighs 1145g."

In addition, it is equipped with the latest Intel 8th generation quad-core processor and the latest DDR4 memory, a slot for additional solid state drive (SSD), a fingerprint reading power button, and a 72Wh battery. LG Gram 2-in-1 is known to have “military specifications’ by passing the Military Standard (MIL-STD), which ensures the product’s durability against shock, dust, high temperature, low temperature, vibration, salt, and low pressure.
