WeMakePrice announced that the number of partners with monthly performance of sales exceeding 10 million won (US$9,000) in April of this year grew 36.9% year on yea to 4,412.
According to the same criterion, 426 partner firms at WeMakePrice post more than 100 million won (US$90.000) in monthly sales. Compared to last year (297 companies), the figure rose 43.4%. The number of partner companies with monthly sales exceeding 30 million won (US$27,000) jumped 39.4 percent to 1,794 from 1,286 in the same month of last year.
WeMakePrice is doing everything in its power to help partner companies increase their sales. In particular, the e-commerce company is securing regular customers and encouraging the cross-purchases between special products and general merchandise and the repurchases of them by maximizing sales and promotional effects through strategic special prices. To achieve this, the MD of each category provides professional advices on how to expand sales from product assortment to price strategy through collaboration with partners.
There are also partner companies that have achieved remarkable sales growth by operating “specially priced goods,” JM Apparel, which sells “JC Style” fashion brand products, increased the sales at WeMakePrice by 1,384% in April compared to January using special offer events such as “WeMakePrice 111 Day” and “Today's Special Offers.” Sales of baby fashion brand "Deo Sarangi" grew 357% in April compared to January.
"We are witnessing a spike in sales of partner companies utilizing monthly special discounts and various special offers," said Lee Jin-won, general manager of WeMakePrice's Product Business Division.
