The Industrial Security Leadership Conference, a flagship event bringing together academia, industry, and research networks across South Korea, was successfully held on November 21 at The Plaza Hotel Seoul.

The event was jointly planned and hosted by the Korean Security Management Association (KSMA) and Arslan SRS Korea, with collaboration from Chung-Ang University’s Department of Industrial Security and the University of Portsmouth in the UK. The conference served as a platform for fostering integrated capabilities and cross-border collaboration in industrial security.

Amid a rapidly changing global and domestic landscape, the conference focused on forward-looking strategies to address complex risks spanning industrial technology, physical security, information protection, and organizational risk management. Leaders from academia, multinational corporations, public institutions, and critical infrastructure operators gathered to explore practical implementation strategies, policy directions, and emerging research trends.

The key sessions covered the following topics. ⦁ Root Causes Behind the Talent Development Gap and Strategic Solutions for Industrial Security Workforce Training ⦁ Global Trends in Industrial Security and New Directions for Professional Development ⦁ Case Studies on Public–Private Security Cooperation ⦁ Designing the Future of Industrial Security Talent Development Through Industry–Academia Collaboration ⦁ Models for Collaboration Among Universities, Research Institutes, and the Private Sector for Security Talent Development

One of the major highlights was Arslan SRS Korea’s announcement of its strengthened identity as a "Global Security Hub." By presenting a roadmap for industry-academia partnerships and formalizing ties with international academic and security institutions, the company reaffirmed its strategic positioning in the global security landscape.
