Dr. Shin Ji Yeoun, the representative dermatologist of Korea Hev Dermatology Clinic, attended the 43rd Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology (JSAD) and delivered a lecture on the latest Korean biostimulator innovations.

The conference was held on August 16–17 at the Osaka International Convention Center, drawing dermatologists and medical professionals from across Japan. JSAD, a leading academic society with more than 3,000 members, hosts annual meetings to share the latest research and clinical experiences in aesthetic dermatology.

This year’s academic conference was a great success, drawing dermatologists and medical professionals from across Japan. In particular, Professors Yoshiki Tokura and Jong-Hyun Won served as joint session chairs, while from Korea, Dr. Shin Ji Yeoun delivered a lecture on the theme “Experiences from Aesthetic Dermatology in Korea.”

During her lecture, dermatologist Shin Ji Yeoun focused on filler and lifting laser procedures for nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lips, as well as the role of next-generation Korean biostimulators. Nasolabial folds are wrinkles extending from the nose to the mouth corners, while marionette lines run vertically from the mouth to the chin. Both are caused by age-related loss of skin elasticity, and can be improved through lifting treatments.

Biostimulators, unlike conventional fillers, stimulate collagen- and elastin-producing cells within the skin. By strengthening the skin’s inner structure, they naturally enhance elasticity, fine lines, texture, and hydration, offering a more regenerative approach to anti-aging.

Dr. Jiyeoun Shin is a renowned board-certified dermatologist who has been actively engaged in various research and academic activities in Korea. She currently serves as the Educational Secretary of the Korean Academy of Dermatologic Anti-Aging Research, a Committee Secretary of the Academic Committee of the Korean Dermatological Association.

Korea Hev Dermatology Clinic, led by dermatologist Shin Ji Yeoun, provides specialized treatments such as anti-aging lifting injectables. The clinic is also recognized for hosting professional hands-on seminars for international doctors, further establishing itself as a hub for both clinical practice and medical education in aesthetic dermatology.
