50 Countries, 150+ Companies Participating in 4-day Event at Jeju Shinhwa World
The 12th International e-Mobility Expo (IEVE 2025), a sustainable future mobility exhibition, will be held for four days from July 9 at Jeju Shinhwa World.
This exhibition, co-hosted by the International Electric Vehicle Expo and the Global EV Alliance Network (GEAN), is expected to attract participation from 50 countries and over 150 domestic and international companies. It will also feature about 30 specialized conferences and global business networking events. The aim is to provide a comprehensive view of innovative technologies and policies in future strategic industries, including electric vehicles, batteries, autonomous driving, urban Aair mobility (UAM), and electric ships.
Kim Dae-hwan, chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized, “IEVE 2025 is a convergence platform that goes beyond showcasing the latest technologies to encompass policy, culture, and youth education. We aim to realize the future vision of the global e-mobility industry in Jeju, addressing the contemporary challenges of carbon neutrality and digital transformation.”
On July 8, the eve of the event, the 10th World e-Mobility Council (GEAN) General Assembly will present the IEVE Technology Innovation Award to 12 companies. On July 9, the “Declaration of Korea’s e-Mobility Export Base” and opening performance are scheduled. The opening ceremony will be attended by high-ranking officials, including ambassadors from more than 10 countries worldwide, such as China, the UK, Italy, Norway, Hungary, the Philippines, Nigeria, South Africa, Qatar, and East Timor.
The 3rd International Eco-friendly Electric Ship Expo will open on July 10. Vice Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kim Sung-bum will attend the Eco-friendly Electric Ship Expo event to share green mobility strategies in the shipping and port sectors. Sessions focusing on global market expansion strategies and innovative technologies will also be held, including the UAM and Drone Forum, International Business SRT Forum, and Global e-Mobility Forum on ASEAN Market Entry Strategy. On July 11, the Global Battery Forum, EV User Awareness Improvement Forum, and the nation’s first Jeju UAM Commercialization Strategy Forum will follow.
