A Swiss national and accomplished hotelier, Samuel brings nearly two decades of global luxury hospitality experience across Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Switzerland. Renowned for his operational excellence, innovative thinking, and passion for exceptional guest service, Samuel now takes the helm of one of Asia’s leading luxury hotels.
Samuel most recently served as General Manager of Hilton Hiroshima, where he successfully led the hotel’s pre-opening and firmly positioned it as the top luxury destination in the Chugoku region. Under his leadership, Hilton Hiroshima earned acclaim for flawlessly hosting the G7 Summit, providing seamless service to global dignitaries including the United States delegation, and securing the trust of VIP delegations through elevated hospitality and security coordination.
He previously held senior operational roles in Japan, Singapore, and Thailand, including at Hilton Tokyo, where he led the Webb Ellis Rugby World Cup outside catering, delivering high-level hospitality at major stadium venues. At Hilton Singapore, he oversaw operations for the prestigious Formula 1 Grand Prix Paddock Club, reinforcing his expertise in executing large-scale, high-profile luxury events.
Beyond mega-events, Samuel is known for crafting visionary guest experiences, launching award-winning restaurant concepts, and building successful collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs and world-renowned mixologists. His approach blends tradition with innovation, elevating the identity and performance of every property he leads.
