A Unique Marketing Event with Washer-Dryer in the U.S.
LG Electronics announced on June 10 that it recently held a wedding vow ceremony event called "Love to Laundry" at the High Line Park in New York, United States.
The company selected 10 couples with special stories through a pre-event application process, supported them in holding a wedding vow ceremony, and gifted each couple one WashTower. For this event, LG Electronics prepared a space designed with WashTowers decorated with stained-glass patterns at the High Line Park in New York. The park is a representative tourist attraction in New York, visited by approximately 8 million people annually.
This event is part of the Love to Laundry campaign that LG Electronics has been promoting since last year. It conveys the message of spending more time with family or loved ones while using LG laundry appliances equipped with convenient features. LG Electronics plans to strengthen its leadership in the premium laundry appliance market by conducting the Love to Laundry campaign across the United States until July. The company will continue various campaign activities, including screening new campaign videos on the Times Square billboard in New York and releasing collaborative content with famous influencers.
LG Electronics ranked first in major categories including drum washing machines, top-load washing machines, and agitator washing machines in the Best Large Capacity Washing Machines survey announced by the U.S. consumer media Consumer Reports earlier this year. In the same media’s Most Reliable Appliance Brands survey, LG Electronics ranked highest as a comprehensive appliance brand for the sixth consecutive year.
