According to the SK SUPLEX Council on July 24, Korean Arts Week, sponsored by SK Group and Korea Investment & Securities, concluded successfully at Lincoln Center in New York, the U.S., with the enthusiastic participation of more than 10,000 local residents and rave media reviews.

Korean Arts Week, held from July 19 to 22, introduced the past, present, and future of Korean culture and arts at one place, consisting of over 10 diverse programs including traditional dances, K-pop performances, and digital art exhibitions. In addition, by inserting the phrase “Wishing for the successful hosting of the Busan Expo” into the event advertisement posters attached to major New York bus lines and subway stations, the event also highlighted Korea’s determination to host the Expo.

Jordana Leigh, a spokesperson for the Lincoln Center, expressed special thanks to SK Group during an interview with local CBS broadcasting, stating “I express special thanks to SK Group who made this event possible.”

An SK Group representative said, “It was a precious opportunity to introduce the diversity of Korean culture in New York, the center of world culture and arts,” and added, “As SK Group’s global business is gradually expanding, we will continue to create opportunities to communicate with global citizens.”
