Kia Motors has released the 2015 model of the Sportage compact SUV, which was the best selling car last year.
Kia Motors (www.kia.com) announced that it has included customers’ favorite specifications, including ventilated front seats, two-row heated seats, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, and an automated fare collection system, as the standard equipment of the model. Also, it has offered a wide range of choices to customers with its new trim model, optimizing specifications and prices.
For the gasoline turbo model, the company equipped advanced features such as 18 inch alloy wheels, a high-quality audio sound system, and a rear view camera as standard specifications, but minimized the markup, offering reasonable prices.
The Sportage has sold as much as 540,000 units in the domestic market alone for the last 22 years since it was first released in 1993. It is the leading compact SUV brand in the country. The price range of an automatic two-wheel drive diesel model is 22.35 to 28.35 million won (US$20,226 to $25,656), while its automatic four-wheel drive diesel model is 26.5 to 30.15 million won (US$23,982 to $27,285). The price of an automatic two-wheel drive gasoline model starts from 22.1 to 23.9 million won (US$20,000 to $21,629).
