An outdoor advertisement for Samsung Electronics’ new foldable phone is run in Piccadilly Square in London, the United Kingdom.

Samsung Electronics announced on July 31 that it has begun to run outdoor advertisements for its new foldable phone at major landmarks in six countries before its release.

The company began to run an advertisement about the unveiling of its new foldable phone at Times Square in New York, Piccadilly Square in London, the Taikuri area in Chengdu, China, Siam Central World Shopping Mall in Bangkok, Thailand, Duomo Square in Milan, Italy and Callao Square in Madrid, Spain on July 29 (local time).

The ad video, titled “Greater,” stresses that people can capture important moments in their lives, working, enjoying, and living, with the new Samsung Galaxy Foldable model that transcends the limitations of smartphones and goes beyond a new form factor to change the way people use mobile devices.

Samsung Electronics is planning to introduce a new foldable phone at a Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event at 10 p.m. on Aug. 10 (Korean standard time). In addition, it will open hands-on pop-up stores in the heart of Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, New York and Piccadilly Square, London and run them until Aug. 31.

The company will unveil a new foldable video containing BTS’ new song “Yet to Come” at 5 a.m. on Aug. 11 in honor of the release of a purple model. This video will hit screens at landmarks around the world, such as Times Square in New York and Piccadilly Square in London.
