Vulnerable to Global Uncertainty
KOSDAQ dropped from 893.36 points at the last trading session of May to 750.3 on June 24. In this period, KOSPI dropped from 2,685.9 to 2,366.6 and KOSDAQ showed the biggest plunge among 40 major global stock markets, directly followed by KOSPI.
On the other hand, S&P 500 fell 5.33 percent in that period, when Dow, NASDAQ and Nikkei 225 edged down 4.51 percent, 3.92 percent and 2.89 percent, respectively.
In addition, Shanghai and Shenzhen Composites and Hang Seng rose 5.13 percent, 9.25 percent and 1.42 percent, respectively.
