LG U+ has strengthened customer services for foreigners in Korea.

LG U+ announced on May 10 that it has strengthened customer services for foreigners residing in Korea who have difficulty communicating in Korean.

Communication services are essential for foreign customers, but foreign customers from non-English-speaking countries often experience inconvenience because foreign language information is provided only in English. Accordingly, LG U+ introduced a telephone interpretation service that provides communication-related information in foreign languages, including English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

Any foreigner can access the LG U+ Foreign Customer Center with a single phone call and receive communication service-related consultations in their preferred languages. Foreign language consultants at the center provide accurate descriptions of mobile plans and subscription conditions in languages of customers’ choosing. They also play a role in preventing damage to customers due to incorrect guidance.

If a foreigner does not have a phone under his or her name, he or she can use an interpreter service with the help of store staff members.
