To Promote Use of AI Service Robots at Restaurants
KT announced on March 16 that it has signed a strategic business agreement with MenuTalk, a company specializing in an unmanned ordering platform, to promote the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered service robots.
MenuTalk is a company that develops solutions and IoT software for restaurants.
The two companies have decided to cooperate in building a collaboration model between KT's AI service robots and MenuTalk's unmanned ordering platform. They will also stage joint marketing efforts and seek to provide differentiated services.
Customers will enter a restaurant using the MenuTalk's waiting system and be guided to their seats by a KT AI service robot. They will also order food through a tablet. AI service robots will serve food and collect dishes after customers leave.
