Korea South-East Power Wins Technology Transfer Award from U.S. EPRI

Korea South-East Power has received the Technology of the Year Prize in the Plant Management Essential category of Technology Transfer Award 2021, which is offered by the U.S. Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).

Korea South-East Power is the first Asian-based company to win the Technology of the Year award in the plant management category.

An award ceremony was held at EPRI's Korea branch in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, on March 4.

EPRI's Technology Transfer Award recognizes the leaders and innovators who produced significant results by applying EPRI's research and technology.

Korea South-East Power plans to prepare for an EPRI's evaluation of its renewable energy management technologies.

Starting in 2022, the scope of EPRI's evaluation will be expanded to renewable energy management such as combined thermal power plant operation technologies and solar and wind power plant operation technologies.
