Picked as the Best Electric SUVs in Germany
Hyundai Motor Group announced on Feb. 27 that German magazine Autozeitung picked the Ioniq 5 and the EV6 as the best electric SUVs.
According to the group, the assessment is divided into the five categories of body, driving convenience, powertrain, economic advantages, and driving dynamics. Ioniq 5 scored 3,222, followed by EV6 (3,178), Polestar 2 (3,164), Tesla Model Y (3,157) and Mercedes-Benz EQB (3,138). Previously, German automotive industry journalists picked the Hyundai Ioniq 5 as this year’s car out of 46 models.
In the United Kingdom, the Auto Express magazine picked Ioniq 5 as this year’s car, medium-sized car for business use, and premium electric vehicle. Likewise, the What Car? magazine picked the Kia EV6 as its car of the year and electric SUV of the year.
