Automotive Week 2015
Automotive Week 2015, the largest automobile aftermarket exhibition in Korea, will take place from Sept. 4 to 6 this year.
Along with the existing events Auto Service Korea, Auto Camping, and The Tuning Show, the organization committee for The Automotive Week 2015 has decided to hold the event from Sept. 4 to 6 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 Hall 4 and 5 concurrently with The Tuning Car Contest 2015, which is hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, in order to expand the base of the domestic automobile aftermarket.
The Tuning Car Contest 2015 will be held to showcase the auto tuning market and raise positive public awareness for auto tuning through tuning deregulations, which is the basis of the government’s creative economy, together with The Automotive Week 2015. Also, the contest is being billed as “the place for communication among tuning companies” to help encourage the tuning community.
Along with The Tuning Car Contest 2015, there will be concurrent events in The Automotive Week 2015: Auto Service Korea, an exhibition for automobile maintenance, refueling and other services; The Tuning Show, an exhibition for automobile tuning and motor sports; and Auto Camping, an exhibition for camping cars, trailers, and motor caravans.
Automotive Week 2015 will display the diverse spectrum and aspects of the automobile aftermarket. Also, it is accelerating globalization this year, including the attraction of a Chinese booth where Chinese firms and groups from the China National Automotive Industry International Cooperation (CNAICO) participate.
Moreover, there will be other events accompanying, including a national auto mechanic competition, national auto exterior management competition, an exports conference inviting potential overseas buyers, a demonstration of car audio, and a drift demo run & drift car display. Therefore, the event will be expanded to a festival field where not only car fans but also audiences at home and abroad can enjoy.
