Samsung Electronics is planning to exhibit smart TVs supporting NFT transactions at CES 2022. The Micro LED, Neo QLED and The Frame TVs supporting NFT artwork search as well are scheduled to be released worldwide this year.

“The world’s first TV screen-based NFT explorer and marketplace will be exhibited with the global NFT demand continuing to increase,” the company explained, adding, “With the new platform, NFT search and transactions can be carried out with greater ease.” Although it is yet to be known which NFT platform will collaborate with Samsung Electronics, the company promised that its smart TVs will not affect image quality while maintaining NFT creators’ previously set values.

LG Electronics is also planning to incorporate blockchain-based NFT content transactions into its OLED TVs.

“We have collaborated with various artists for years to this end and OLED is the very technology optimized for art,” it said. These days, the company is focusing on a harmony between art and technology with its art objet design concepts.
