A video and an image of the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) and the Galaxy S22 have been leaked. Samsung Electronics is planning to introduce them in the first half of next year.

An Italian HD blog recently released a Galaxy S21 FE unboxing video through YouTube. The 6-minute and 44-second video shows not only the appearance of the Galaxy S21 but its specifications.

According to the video, the Galaxy S21 FE has the same appearance as the Galaxy S21 released earlier in 2021. At the top of the display is a punch hole for a camera. The new model will come with a triple camera. The sleek new model is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 AP.

In addition, it can perform an optical image stabilization (OIS) function. Its IP67 grade waterproofing and dustproofing finishes protect the smartphone from water and dusts.

Industry insiders expect Samsung Electronics to unwrap the Galaxy S21 FE at CES 2022 on Jan. 4 next year before its official launch on Jan. 11. The model is expected to be launched in some European markets.

Images of the Galaxy S22 series, which is scheduled to be released in February next year, are also steadily leaked. Recently, even images presumed to be official posters have been leaked.

The leaked image shows the Galaxy S22 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Ultra together. As for the Galaxy S22 Plus, its design is similar to the previous model Galaxy S21, featuring round corners and contour design.

Angled corners were applied to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, giving it a feel similar to the design of the existing Galaxy Note series. The rear camera part is in the form of a camera protruding from the device itself without a frame. As expected by industry experts, the ultra-model is expected to come with an S Pen.

Until now, videos and images of new smartphone products have often been leaked before their official launches. However, some smartphone experts say that more and more information has been leaked with the release of unboxing videos and official posters.

“It is common for information about new products to be leaked online, but such leaks have been more explicit in recent years,” IT media outlet SamMobile said. “Such leaks decrease people’s interest in new products and shrink anticipation for them on the day of release. Samsung Electronics will be able to boost the value of the Galaxy brand by taking a strong attitude about such leaks.”
