Tri-Gen System to Take Center Stage at Doosan Booth
Doosan Group will participate in CES 2022 in Las Vegas from Jan. 5 to 8 next year to showcase its products and technologies under the theme of “Making People’s Daily Lives Delightful.”
Doosan Group affiliates that will participate in CES 2022 include Doosan Corp., Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, Doosan Bobcat, Doosan Fuel Cell, Doosan Industrial Vehicle, Doosan Robotics, and Doosan Mobility Innovation.
Hydrogen utilization technology will take center stage at the group's booth. Visitors will be able to meet a 3.5-meter-tall mock-up of the Tri-Gen system at the center of the booth.
Developed by Doosan Fuel Cell, the Tri-Gen system uses fuel cells to produce hydrogen, electricity, and heat at the same time. The produced hydrogen, electricity and heat are transmitted through separate channels to fuel DMI drones, charge Doosan Bobcat’s fully electric loader T7X, and heat up smart farms for crop cultivation, respectively.
Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction will also introduce its hydrogen business. It will show the process of electrolyzing water with electricity produced by offshore wind turbines, producing green hydrogen, and hydrogenating waste resources, and displays eco-friendly hydrogen turbines under development based on domestic technology in a one-sixth model.
Doosan Robotics will present a pleasant daily life with robots widely used in various areas. Collaborative robot drummers play drums installed at the booth to greet visitors. A separate studio space will let visitors try out a camera robot specialized in performance shooting.
The All-Electric Compact Track Loader T7X to be exhibited by Doosan Bobcat is an eco-friendly product that maximizes energy efficiency. The machine can greatly reduce noises and vibrations as the company eliminated both its internal combustion engine and hydraulic system and electrified all parts. Doosan Bobcat will hold a media day event at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas on Jan. 4, one day before the CES’s opening, to unveil the T7X for the first time.
Doosan Industrial Vehicle will show unmanned vehicle technology that will make people’s daily lives more convenient. Its unmanned forklift will introduce logistics automation technology along with collaborative robots. The Electronics Business Group of Doosan Corp. will display the world’s first cable patterned flat cables (PFCs) and advanced materials for 5G telecommunications and electric vehicles by combining the advantages of copper wires and flexible printed circuit boards.
