The Born2Global Center participated in the third Global Innovative Growth Forum (GIGF), which was held on Dec. 8 and 9, and introduced innovative South Korean and Latin American startups’ joint ventures.

GIGF 2021 was co-hosted by World Bank and the Ministry of Economy & Finance of Korea to address new challenges for innovative growth in the post-pandemic era.

The center introduced four startups -- InnoCSR and Virnect of South Korea, American Climate Solutions of Mexico and Proximity of Peru. The four companies made presentations on their businesses, sharing the same purpose of digital and green growth in developing countries.

The joint venture of InnoCSR and American Climate Solutions is currently focusing on carbon emissions reduction in Latin America. It is capable of supplying carbon reduction solutions such as eco-friendly brick production solutions. The joint venture of Virnect and Proximity developed SaaS- and virtual reality-based safety training solutions and these are about to be adopted at construction and mining sites in Peru.

At the forum, the Born2Global Center had discussions with startup ecosystem experts in the United States, Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. “The center will work even more closely with international organizations so that startups’ joint projects can be further promoted,” it said.
