Coconut Rum ‘Malibu’ & Tteokbokki Delivered to You for KRW20,000

Pernod Ricard Korea’s iconic coconut rum ‘Malibu’ and tteokbokki brand ‘Happy Cheese Smile’ launches a delivery service through Baemin.

Pernod Ricard Korea’s iconic coconut rum ‘Malibu’ is partnering with the trendy tteokbokki brand ‘Happy Cheese Smile’ to launch a delivery service in November.

As part of the ‘#Tteokbokki & Malibu with Happy Cheese Smile’ promotion, Pernod Ricard Korea created a special menu through a collaboration between the iconic coconut rum Malibu and Happy Cheese Smile (HCS), which can be ordered from anywhere using delivery application, ‘BaedalMinjok’ until the end of November.

‘Malibu X Happy Cheese Smile Special Menu’ includes 200 ml of Malibu and Cool Peace juice, the ingredients for a Malicool (Malibu + Cool Peace) to make a perfect partner for a spicy tteokbokki, a bowl of Happy Cheese Smile’s signature tteokbokki and either pork cutlet or deep-fried vegetables. The menu starts at about 20,000 won and can be customized in a number of different ways.

People at home can easily enjoy tteokbokki and Malicool, a signature Malibu cocktail by placing an order with any of the 12 branches of Happy Cheese Smile loved by Millennials and Generation Z, including the Samdeok, Joongang, Beomeo, Chilgok, FXCO, Susungmot, Daejeon, Sejong, Hwanglidangil, Yeonnam, Yeonsinnae, and Gyeonggi Gwangju (Gyeongan) branches.

To initiate the partnership, Pernod Ricard Korea and Happy Cheese Smile opened a pop-up store as an offline event to offer a special menu composed of tteokbokki and Malicool. This special menu created for the collaboration will be available until the end of November at 42 Happy Cheese Smile stores nationwide. The pop-up store at the Yeonnam branch in Seoul operated for about two weeks from Oct. 25 until Nov. 7 and offered diverse experiences such as meal kit packages, a Malibu cocktail bar with bartenders, a tteokbokki MBTI program, merchandise, and more.
