To Facilitate R&D between Korean Companies and Global Clients

BMW Group Korea and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology concluded a business agreement on Nov. 2 for mutual cooperation in the field of future mobility.

The purpose of the agreement is to facilitate R&D between non-large South Korean companies and their global clients and help the former expand their global value chains and overseas business activities.

The agreement was signed at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan and the signing was attended by BMW Korea R&D Director Dieter Strobl, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology President Seok Yeong-cheol, and about 20 from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Embassy of Germany in Seoul.

According to the agreement, the mutual cooperation will cover autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance, vehicle electrification, hydrogen fuel cell powertrains, interior and exterior materials, and many more.
