Samsung Electronics announced on Oct. 18 that it has sold 600,000 Smart Monitors worldwide since the launch of the all-new product in December last year.

The monitor comes with a “do-it-all” screen that can be used to watch content from Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube, etc and can also be connected to the PC and be used to work using Microsoft 365. It is built to multitask and incorporates mobile and PC connectivity, remote home office, and learning features.

Samsung’s Smart Monitor lineup has six products, including M7 (43- and 32-inch models) and M5 (32- and 27-inch models), and plans to further expand its lineup. On top of that, Samsung Electronics is introducing various monitor products such as webcam monitors and gaming monitors.

Samsung Smart Monitors features the Samsung Wireless DeX function that allows users to use their smartphones like PCs, the Mirror function that allows users to view smartphones’ screens on monitors, and the Tap View function that connects screens immediately when putting smartphones near monitors.

They are also the first monitor product to support Apple AirPlay 2. Apple AirPlay is a function that allows you to play music and videos and show photos on Apple devices such as the iPhone, the iPad and MacBook.
