The First Experiential Store Set up by CheongKwanJang
Red ginseng brand CheongKwanJang of Korea Ginseng Corp.(KGC) announced on Sept. 16 that it opened “Ginseng Museum Cafe by CheongKwanJang” in Manhattan, New York on Sept. 14 (local time).
Ginseng Museum Café is the world's first experiential store created by CheongKwanJang. It combines a museum with a café to allow customers to experience ginseng more directly and personally.
It shows everything about ginseng, including its history, value, cultivation, processing method and efficacy, through 3D sculptures and digital images. At the same time, the Red Ginseng Brewery (extraction zone) on one side of the store allows visitors to watch the process of extracting liquid from ginseng 24 hours a day and taste it.
These days, the global COVID-19 pandemic is fueling people’s interest in immunity. In this regard, red ginseng, Korea's leading immunity-boosting food, is drawing attention in the United States. CheongKwanJang saw its sales on Amazon more than triple in 2020 compared to the previous year.
