The Busan Metropolitan Government said that Park Eun-ha, ambassador for international relations of Busan City, took part in a pan-national relay campaign to promote Busan as the venue for World Expo 2030.

The “Let’s Get Together for World Expo 2030 in Busan” is a pan-national relay campaign to arouse people’s interest in Busan's efforts to host World Expo and create a fever to help Busan be chosen as the venue for the 2030 event.

Ambassador Park was chosen to join the relay campaign by Chung Jong-pil, secretary-general of the Busan Foundation for International Cooperation (BFIC). Park served as a consul in New York, a councilor at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, director-general of the Development and Cooperation Bureau of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Korean minister to China, and Korean ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Park selected Lee Geun, president of the Korea Foundation, Son Hyeok-sang, chairman of the KOICA, and Choi Jung-hwa, president of the Corea Image Communication Institute (CICI), as the next participants in the relay campaign.

"I am sure that World Expo 2030 in Busan will be a stepping stone that redefines the brand Busan," Park said.
