AIA Vitality T Healthy Habit is available on SK Telecom’s new T Universe platform.

AIA Life announced on Aug. 31 that AIA Vitality T Healthy Habit is now available on SK Telecom’s new T Universe platform, opening access to Korea’s leading health, and wellness and insurance program as a service to all customers.

AIA Vitality will be offered together with two of SK Telecom’s new subscription platform products unveiling on Aug. 31. On the T Universe Pass package (9,900 won per month), AIA Vitality has been added as the health and wellness subscription together with a base package from Amazon,11th Street and Google Cloud.

Launched by AIA Life in 2018 in strategic partnership with SK C&C and SK Telecom, AIA Vitality is an innovative program that offers the protection benefits of insurance with dynamic pricing. AIA Vitality is the leading health and wellness platform in Korea that enables a dynamic relationship between AIA and its customers with more than 1.7 million cumulative members and 1 trillion cumulative steps in walking since its launch.

Through the AIA Vitality T Healthy Habit subscription on the ‘Universe Pass’ customers can earn up to 12,000 won worth of monthly rewards by completing weekly missions based on health and wellness activities such as exercise and steps. Current reward partners include popular brands such as Starbucks, E-Mart, Kyobo Books and discounts on customers’ SK Telecom phone bill.

Subscribers can also select AIA Vitality Plus (24,000 won per month), which includes access to affiliate service, Noom, an award-winning weight-loss mobile application designed by psychologists. Subscribers of AIA Vitality Plus can maintain and improve health not only through professional advice, but also through a wealth of information on healthy diet management and weight loss programs.

Through AIA Vitality on SK Telecom’s T Universe, subscribers will have the opportunity to experience the Vitality health and wellness program that has over 20 million members in 26 markets across the world. As subscribers move up in their Vitality Health Status from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, they will be able to preview AIA Vitality’s proprietary dynamic pricing in action. When customers’ health goes up, their premium price comes down. AIA shares that accumulated long term value of a healthier life up front with customers through an initial 10% discount and applies behavioral economics through weekly rewards to encourage their continued health and wellness journey.

AIA Life offers a 10% premium discount up front to subscribed customers. The pre-discount is based on AIA’s belief in the power of the Vitality wellness program and putting customers first by sharing future profits that have not yet occurred with customers in advance. This ultimately allows customers to come to be healthier by diminishing the cause of disease.
