China and Singapore Still Reviewing the Deal

SK Hynix has obtained U.K. approval on its acquisition of Intel's NAND flash business.

U.K. authorities approved SK Hynix's acquisition of Intel's NAND flash business. According to SK Hynix, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) of the United Kingdom announced on June 28 that it has unconditionally approved the deal.

With the approval, SK Hynix passed the screening process of six countries - the United States, the EU, Korea, Taiwan, Brazil and the United Kingdom. Now only China and Singapore have yet to make their judgments in the future.

If China and Singapore approve the deal, SK Hynix's acquisition of Intel’s NAND business will be completed.
