A Section of Ethiopia-Kenya Expressway

Daewoo E&C announced that it opened the main line of the Meki-Zeway Expressway it completed in Ethiopia on May 8.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, South Korean Ambassador to Ethiopia Kang Seok-hee, and other officials. The company is planning to complete two access roads with a length of 4.6 km by next month.

The expressway in Oromia has four lanes in total with a length of 37 km. It is a key part of the Modjo-Hawassa Expressway construction project to link Ethiopia and Kenya to each other.
