Committed to ESG Management
SK Engineering & Construction will hold an extraordinary general shareholders' meeting at its headquarters in Seoul on May 21 to change its corporate name to SK ecoplant Co.
In October 2020, the builder filed an application with the Seoul Central District Court for the temporary registration of three corporate name candidates -- SK ecoplant, SK Impact and SK Circlers.
The name change reflects the company’s intention to further accelerate ESG management.
"To reposition SK Engineering & Construction as a leading eco-friendly company, we will restructure our business portfolio with the focus on eco-friendly businesses," company president Ahn Jae-hyun said in his New Year's address for 2021.
