SKIET stock subscribers at Korea Investment & Securities Yeouido

SK IE Technology (SKIET) attracted more than 22 trillion won on the first day of its pre-listing subscription for individual investors. The subscription is until April 29 and many are watching whether it will set a new record beyond SK Bioscence.

Five securities companies conducted the subscription procedure on April 28. Investors deposited 22,159.4 billion won in total and the average competition intensity was 78.93:1. The deposits in Mirae Asset Securities added up to 10,537.7 billion won, followed by those in Korea Investment & Securities (5,407.1 billion won), NH Investment & Securities (2,217.2 billion won), Samsung Securities (2,117.5 billion won) and SK Securities (1,879.9 billion won).

The first-day result of SKIET is the largest ever. Last month, SK Bioscence attracted 14,147.4 billion won on the first day of its pre-listing subscription for individual investors, when the competition intensity was 75.87:1. The final result of SKIET is likely to further exceed the figures of SK Bioscence in that the deposit tends to increase rapidly in the afternoon of the second and final day.

The subscription will end at 16:00, April 28. The starting price of the stock is 105,000 won and its first-day maximum is 273,000 won. SKIET, an SK Innovation subsidiary, manufactures lithium-ion battery separators. Its listing on KOSPI is scheduled for May 11 and its enterprise value is estimated at up to 7.5 trillion won.
