Samsung Electronics announced on July 31 that it will release the industry's first 78-inch bendable UHD TVs that allow will people to enjoy both a flat and curved screen.
The new model (UN78S9B) enables people to choose a flat or curved screen so that customers can change their way of watching TVs.
The bendable UHD TVs are designed in the timeless gallery fashion, and it can create a sense of full immersion when curved TV mode is set, thanks to the best curved rate (4200mm radius) of the new model. Moreover, UHD Dimming technology helps further optimize picture quality by processing each block of a picture and delivering deeper blacks and improved contrast. In addition, black crystal panels offer image resolution comfortable to the eye by lowering diffused reflection and improving the clarity of the TV.
Pre-orders begin for new bendable UHD TVs on August 1, and the new model will be displayed in the Samsung Digital Plaza at Gangnam and Lotte Department Store at Jamsil.
