Sales Recovering at Home and Abroad

The All New Rexton from SsangYong Motor

SsangYong Motor Co., part of India's Mahindra Group, announced on Dec. 1 that the company sold a total of 11,891 units in November 2020 – 9,270 units in domestic sales and 2,589 in exports.

In November, SsangYong recorded its highest ever monthly sales this year again following October, exceeding 11,000 vehicles for the first time in 2020 thanks to a recovery at home and abroad.

November sales showed a clear recovery with an increase of 16.3 percent from the previous month and 10.3 percent from a year earlier, respectively.

The company’s domestic sales surpassed 9,000 units in five months since June helped by the successful launch of the All New Rexton which posted a huge sale growth of 23.1 percent over the same month last year.

The company’s November exports also recorded its highest monthly sales this year with an increase of 71 percent over the same month last year.

SsangYong Motor witnesses a recovery in both domestic market and overseas market helped by the launch of the new model. The company will continue the sales uptrend by strengthening global market with the differentiated marketing strategy and diversified product mix.

In addition, SsangYong will prepare for post-coronavirus market by reinforcing not only various ‘untact’ marketing programs, such as online purchase quotation service and visiting service for safe test-drive program, but also non-face-to-face channels and re-arrangement of global sales network.
