The World's 5th-largest Digital Asset Exchange

The 24-hour trading volume of digital asset exchange UPbit has topped 1.7 trillion won.

Blockchain and fintech firm Dunamu announced on Nov. 24 that the 24-hour trading volume of digital asset exchange UPbit topped 1.7 trillion won.

At 10:00 a.m. that day, UPbit recorded a 24-hour trading volume of US$1,536,357,938 on CoinMarketCap to become the fifth-largest digital asset exchange in the world and the only South Korean digital asset exchange with a 24-hour trading volume of more than one trillion won.

This has to do with the rising Bitcoin price and increasing public interest in digital assets. UPbit, which debuted in October 2017, currently has approximately three million members. It is the first digital asset exchange in South Korea that developed a digital asset index, made listing criteria public and introduced project information disclosure.
