An Accolade from Consumer Reports
LG Electronics' OLED TVs have been selected as the "Best TVs of 2020" by Consumer Reports, a leading U.S. consumer media outlet.
Two of the four Best TVs of 2020 announced by Consumer Reports were LG OLED TVs (the 65C9 and 65CX models).
Consumer Reports gave the LG OLED TV models the highest score in the HD and UHD segments. Samsung Electronics' QLED TV (Q90) was the only LCD TV selected as the Best TV of 2020.
Consumer Reports also recommended products in the categories of the Best Value TVs, the Best Big Screen TVs under US$2,000, and the Best 65-inch TVs under US$1,000.
In the Best Big Screen TVs under US$2,000, the recommended products were LG Electronics' Nano Cell TV (75NANO91), Samsung Electronics' QLED TV (QN75Q7DT), Sony’s TV (75X900H), and HiSense’s TV (75H8G).
LG Nano Cell TV (65SM), TCL TV (65R625 and 65R635) and HiSense TV (65H9G) were selected in the category of the Best 65-inch TVs under US$1,000.
Samsung's QLED TV (QN65Q80T) and Sony's LCD TV (65X950H) were recommended as the best budget models.
