Big Turnout
The Organizing Committee for this year’s Osong Bio Industry Expo held a “D-100 Success Pledge Event for 2014 Bio Industry Expo at Osong” to promote the exhibition on June 25.
At the event, Co-chairman of the Organizing Committee and Governor of Chungbuk Province Lee Si-jong, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee and former Head of Ministry of Security and Public Administration Oh Yeong-gyo were the main guests. Other special guests included Mayor of Seoul Pak Won-sun and Central Head of Chungcheong Countryman Union Oh Jang-seop, who gave well-wishing messages for a successful exhibition. Also, Head of Yongsan-gu Seong Jang-hyeon came to the event as the honorary Promotion Ambassador, and over one thousand residents of Chungbuk province and a promotion group made of university students participated.
Co-chairman Lee said in his opening speech, “Osong Bio Industry Expo will introduce a new world of biotech to the human race,” and “I hope that the fervor in Gwanghwamun continues throughout the exhibition.”
