LG Hausys's Artificial Marble Products Recognized as Eco-friendly by U.S. Certification Body

LG Hausys' artificial marble products have been recognized as eco-friendly by U.S. certification organization Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Global Services.

LG Hausys announced on Sept. 10 that a total of six artificial marble products have obtained the "SCS Recycled Content Certificate" from the U.S. certification organization.

SCS Global Services grants the certificate to a product that contains a minimum of 5 percent recycled material in its composition. LG Hausys said the six products contain more than 10 percent recycled synthetic marble raw materials.

Meanwhile, LG Hausys currently ranks second in the global acrylic synthetic marble market with a 20 percent share behind DuPont of the United States.
