Hanmi Pharmaceutical announced on May 13 that it released its CSR report for 2019 and 2020 based on the Global Reporting Initiative Standard. The company released the first CSR report in the South Korean pharmaceutical industry two years ago. The latest report is the third from Hanmi Pharmaceutical.
This year's report contains the themes of R&D management for new challenges, management for customer satisfaction, ethical management for trust, management for human respect, EHS management for better working conditions, and co-management for joint prosperity.
Hanmi Pharmaceutical is planning to actively participate in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and the international community, to continue to release its CSR report every year, and to regularly make public its non-financial information and data in easy-to-understand ways.
“Hanmi Pharmaceutical, as one of the R&D-centered pharmaceutical companies representing South Korea, has successfully pursued enterprise values by means of R&D activities and created social values based on the pursuit,” said the Korean Standards Association, which recently reviewed the report. The association also said that the report is expected to contribute to the promotion of Hanmi Pharmaceutical’s ESG performance and its sustainable management.
