3rd Round of Sales Scheduled for March 6
Samsung Electronics' foldable phone Galaxy Z-Flip has been sold out in its first and second rounds of sales in China. The company plans to start the third round of sales at 10:00 a.m. on March 6 (local time).
Samsung Electronics began the second round of sales on online channels such as Samsung Electronics' Online Store, Tmall, JD.Com and Suning from 10:00 a.m. on March 3.
The Galaxy Z-Flip in the mirror purple color sold out shortly after the sales began. Within 30 minutes, all models including the mirror black sold out.
In the first round of sales on Feb. 27, all of the Galaxy Z-Flip sold out in nine minutes.
Meanwhile, Huawei's second foldable Phone Mate Xs is also gaining popularity in China. Pre-orders of the Mate Xs, which began from 10:08 a.m. on Feb. 26 topped 580,000 at 1 p.m. on the day. Huawei will continue the pre-orders until March 5.
