Domestic stock funds posted an average return of 9.07 percent in 2019, when the average return of foreign stock funds amounted to 25.8 percent and the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 7.67 percent.
Last year, Mirae Asset Global Investments stood out in the foreign stock fund market. The 10 most profitable foreign stock funds in the market included six Mirae Asset Global Investments funds last year.
For example, the top 10 list was topped by the Mirae Asset TIGER China A Leverage ETF, which posted an annual return of 80.3 percent. The leveraged ETF is linked to the CSI 300 index based on the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges.
