Under the agreement, KT and China Mobile Migu will join hands to jointly promote a 5G digital ecosystem and global innovation in 5G technology. Details of cooperation are cooperation in developing 4K and 8K ultra-high definition contents, supplying popular Chinese drama, sports and performance contents and building a cloud game ecosystem.

China Mobile invested more than 500 billion won in the 5G AR & VR sector and is pushing forward with the development of the 5G ultra-high definition VR content industry. Its subsidiary Migu is applying itself to creating a 5G content ecosystem, focusing on the five digital content areas of music, video, web novels, games, and animations.

According to the deal with Migu, KT will lead the development of 5G digital content ecosystems in Korea and China through cooperation with Migu and provide more 5G new media experiences for people of both countries.
