A Solar Panel with Efficiency Rating of 22%
LG Electronics showcased high-end solar products in the Inter Solar 2019, the world's largest solar energy exhibition in Munich, Germany that will run until May 17.
The company’s products on display in the show included the Neon R, a premium solar module with the highest efficiency and power in Korea.
The Neon R attained an efficiency rating of 22 percent, the highest in Korea. In addition, its power reaches 380 Watts (a 60-cell standard product), the highest among products made by Korean companies.
"The Neon R is a product that maximizes the absorption of light by eliminating electrodes on its front," an LG Electronics official said. In particular, LG Electronics gives a 25-year warranty for Neon R products after their installation. Even 25 years after its installation, the product would be able to guarantee 90.8 percent of its initial performance, LG Electronics explained.
