Partnering with Smaller Companies

Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) announced on Nov. 19 that its global market exploration team and 14 partner firms visited ASEAN member countries, including Malaysia and Vietnam, from Nov. 10-17.

Since 2015, the state-run power generation company has been organizing the "K-Jangbogo Project" to penetrate overseas markets together with its partner firms.

In the latest project, KOMIPO visited ASEAN member countries. It held export consultation meetings with national power agencies and energy companies of these countries. During the meetings, the team and the 14 partner firms promoted their products and technologies.

Also, they visited local power plants for one-on-one meetings with potential clients. They held export consultations worth US$22 million . In addition, Sungil Turbine and Korea Engineering obtained letters of intent worth approximately US$3 million.
