Rental Car Services for Foreigners
Hyundai Capital announced on October 15 that the company would launch the “Easy Drive Program,” a long-term rental car service for foreigners.
This program saves foreign customers cost to purchase cars and makes it easier for them to use cars through a simple procedure. If foreign customers have alien registration cards, they can be reviewed for the use of the service without submitting income and employment documents and minimum down payments.
In addition, they can use new cars by paying reasonable monthly fees without a burden to pay initial costs. At the end of the service period, they can return or purchase their cars as they wish. In the case that they want to sell their cars after buying and using them, they can sell them through Hyundai Capital's "My Car Selling Service."
"We developed the Easy Drive program for foreign customers who hesitated to use new cars due to a complicated procedure and cost," a Hyundai Capital official said. “This program will offer foreign customers opportunities to use the models popular among Koreans, including the Genesis, the Grandeur and the New Sorrento."
