Samsung Electronics announced on October 14 that the company exhibited a 109-inch ultra-large light-emitting diode (LED) signage product at the “Porsche Experience” event in Malaysia. The “LED for HOME” is a premium home cinema product unveiled at the CEDIA 2018, a video equipment exhibition held in San Diego last month.
The premium home cinema solution is based on a modular LED display with no bezel and features screens which are 109 inches (full HD) and 219 inches (UHD) and customized resolutions.
Samsung Electronics installed the LED for Home in the highlight area of the event to give all participants a pre-driving briefing exercise using a super-large screen, allowing them to have the experience of a driving course without actually driving a car on the road.
"The LED for Home provides differentiated experiences to consumers who want home theaters in classy houses and villas and luxury resorts," a Samsung Electronics official said.
The event is the first Porsche Experience in the Asia-Pacific region and will run at the Sepang International Motor Stadium until October 17, offering an opportunity to try driving a high-end sports car on a circuit.
