Kumho Tire Signs Deal to Exchange Stock, R&D with Yokohama

Kumho Tire unveiled on December 2 that it signed a deal with Yokohama Tire to exchange stock through a capital alliance agreement. 

Under the deal, the two companies will also work together to conduct R&D and share research resources, said Korea’s second-largest tire manufacturer. 

Kumho said that it will sign a formal deal with Yokohama, the world’s eighth-largest tire maker, as soon as possible.
