Hyundai Motor to Sell First Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle in US Next Year

Hyundai Motor will sell the industry’s first hydrogen fuel cell version of its “Tucson ix” in the US next year. The company plans to start lease sales from Southern California and then expand to other areas.

The Korean auto maker began to mass-produce the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle in February, and has been supplying the Tucson ix to Europe’s northern countries, such as Denmark and Sweden, since April.
